Des évènements des plus mystérieux s'enchaînent à Vopnafjörður : les dossiers retrouvés sur tous les habitants de la ville, deux meurtres à la maison Saibergsson, à 19h et 23h, la tuerie à l'église puis l'assassinat de la pasteur. Vous avez retiré la pierre de la susceptibilité de la ville, cela va-t-il endiguer le phénomène, l'empêcher d'activer le rituel ou, comme d'autres le craignent, au contraire lui faire prendre indéfiniment de l'ampleur ?
Mais votre esprit est ailleurs : Hanna a tenté de sauvé sa mère, mais cela l'a anéanti. Barbara a pris sur elle ce tribut, la rendant inapte à faire les recherches pendant quelques temps. De plus, vous avez appris qu'elle mourrait dans quatre mois. Sören a pris consicence de qui il était pour son 18e anniversaire, et surtout de ce qu'il devait faire - ou aurait du faire (ou aurait pu devoir faire...).
Vous vous êtes beaucoup approché de monsieur Saibergsson, hésitant pour certains à pactiser avec lui. Lui révéler la face cachée du monde aura forcément de grandes conséquences, mais dans quelle direction ? Vous épluchez les dossiers sur les habitants sans rien encore trouver de probant pour accuser l'un ou l'autre.
Et bien sûr, pendant ce temps, ce qui semblent être des valkyries corrompues continuent de semer le chaos. Aucune nouvelle des hommes-chevaux.
Il est 13h, on est le Dimanche. La grande-place est animée, la musique, les rires, les danses. Hanna se dirige chez le secrétaire de monsieur Saibergsson, Sören et Esteban sont sur la place, Dany est au manoir de Barbara.
Oh, et vous avez (enfin) éliminer le faucon de cristal.

Le Tome of mysteries n'a pas encore été traduit en français, mais contient de nombreuses manoeuvres potentiellement intéressantes pour vous. Comme toute manoeuvre hors livret, elles sont soumises à mon approbation pour ne pas créer de combo stupide...
Par exemple :
- Out of the Past: You have a police buddy who will do you big favors. Get in touch with them when you need to redirect law enforcement attention, get a heads-up on what operations are planned, or access police files. You now owe them: expect them to collect on it soon.
- Burn Everything: When you use magic to inflict harm, you can choose to inflict 3-harm area magic obvious or 3-harm ignore-armour magic obvious.
- This Might Sting: You can use magic to heal 3-harm, but the process is exceptionally painful. On a 7-9 it also leaves a gnarly scar.
- Luck of the Damned: After you use magic or cast a rote, take +1 forward on the next roll you make.
- Monster Empathy: When you try to work out what a supernatural creature desires, roll +Charm. On a 10+, hold 2. On a 7-9, hold 1. Spend your hold to ask the following questions—the Keeper will answer honestly: • What does it most desire? • What would it accept as good enough for now? • What would distract it?
- Fellow Believer: People understand you’ve also known strangeness. Bystanders will talk to you about weird things they would not trust another hunter (or a mundane official) to believe.
- Ockham’s Broadsword: When you first encounter something strange, you may ask the Keeper what sort of thing it is. They will tell you if it (or the cause) is: natural, an unnatural creature, a weird phenomenon, or a person. You gain +1 forward dealing with it.
Pour rappel il existe encore d'autres feuillets officiels (que je cherche toujours sur internet). En ce qui concerne les feuilles de chasseurs non-officiels, il vont être grandement soumis à approbation.
Si vous avez besoin d'aide pour améliorer votre personnage, du moment que ça sert l'histoire, je suis toujours ouvert.
